How many people can stay? 

The house has beds/mattresses for 5 to 11 people, according if people would share bedrooms or not:  It is possible to have tent or van in the garden. 

The kitchen table can only host 10-11 people, but you could always put another table in the attacched living room.  

There is only one shower. There are two toilets, one downstairs, one in the bathroom upstairs. 

Beds:

• two rooms with double beds (first floor)

• one room with a single bed and another single mattress in an attached attic that can be reached via a stable ladder  (first and second floor)

• one room with a single mattress and a double mattress in an attached attic that can be reached via a stable ladder (first and second floor)

• one bed sofa for two in one of the the living rooms (ground floor)

Accessibility 

The house is not accessible for people in a wheelchair because of the toilet/bathrooms not being accessible. https://pad.systemli.org/p/Freie_Zeiten_Wandelort_-keep.  The bedrooms are all upstairs. The bed sofa is downstairs. There is two steps in front of the frontdoor. Please don’t hesitate to contact us to talk about whether the house is accessible for you or if there is anything you need. 

How to arrive there?

The next train station is Eutin, 15 kilometers from Schönwalde. Four times a day there is a bus from Eutin to Schönwalde am Bungsberg (stop is called “Am Steinberg”).

Train station Neustadt in Holstein is about 20 km from Schönwalde.

By bicycle from Eutin to Schönwalde it is about 16 kilometers. There are a lot of hills here.

If we have time, we could also pick some of you up, but have only a small car.
